On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, AMCA had the immense pride and honor of hosting a production screening of the film Au Nom du Fils, directed by Kader Ayd, with Richard Bohringer and several of the film's cast members in attendance.
Organized by director Kader Ayd, this screening was a highlight for AMCA and everyone present. It offered a chance to discover a powerful, sensitive, and deeply human work, brought to life by a remarkable cast and a story shaped by memory, forgiveness, and the passage of time.
Produced by Spartans Division, in association with Seven Art, Au Nom du Fils features Jo Prestia, Charles Aznavour, Richard Bohringer, Dolores Chaplin, Doudou Masta, Francis Huster, MC Jean Gab’1, Karim Lasmi, Laurent Zimmermann, Arsène Jiroyan, and Kader Ayd.
The result of many years of work (15 years), this film stands out as a unique piece of cinema. It also holds a special place in the career of Charles Aznavour, marking one of his final film appearances.
We would like to warmly thank Kader Ayd for his trust and for choosing AMCA to host this screening. We also extend our sincere thanks to Richard Bohringer for his presence and for the honor of joining us at our facility.
As the director notes, "Some films tell a story; this one spans a lifetime."
Congratulations to Kader Ayd and the entire artistic and technical team for this ambitious, intense, and memorable work.
The release of Au Nom du Fils is scheduled for late 2026 to early 2027.
