In this new episode of our series The Insiders, we meet Éric Courtecuisse, a gaffer who works across various types of film sets. Éric Courtecuisse reflects on the diversity of his work: after a year largely dedicated to music videos, he is now primarily working on advertising projects and is considering a return to narrative fiction. He also shares his professional ambitions, including a desire to work on large-scale projects and eventually build his own team of lighting technicians.

When asked for advice for students just starting out in film and audiovisual production, he emphasizes the importance of the network built during their studies.
