At AMCA, we believe that passion is the driving force behind all lasting learning. That is why our teaching team is made up of film and audiovisual professionals who have chosen to pass on their knowledge with high standards and, above all, with enthusiasm. Directors, cinematographers, editors, screenwriters, sound engineers and producers all share hands-on experience built over years of practice. Their mission: to offer much more than technical training.

At AMCA, you won't just learn a profession: you'll join a community of image makers committed to bringing forward a new generation of bold filmmakers. Our teachers inspire, guide and support each student as an individual, helping them assert their own vision of cinema.

Far from impersonal lectures, our workshops favor interaction, constructive criticism and ongoing dialogue. This strong human bond between teachers and students creates a lively, stimulating learning environment. Thanks to this closeness, each student receives individual support tailored to their progress and ambitions.

Learning filmmaking today also means mastering tools that meet professional standards. That is why AMCA gives its students an outstanding technical environment. Our premises, designed to encourage creativity and collaboration, are equipped with the latest audiovisual equipment: 4K digital cameras, high-end sound gear, professional editing stations, soundproof studios, a color grading suite, a mixing room and TV control rooms. Every space is designed to recreate real shooting and post-production conditions.

Students have open, supervised access to this equipment throughout their studies, for class exercises as well as personal projects. From the first year, they learn industry-standard software such as DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Pro Tools and After Effects, so they are fully operational when they graduate.

AMCA builds strong ties with leading film and audiovisual professionals and institutions to open the doors of the industry to its students. These partnerships take many forms: masterclasses with renowned directors and technicians, directing-actors workshops with experienced performers, writing residencies with festivals, co-productions with partner studios, film set visits… Through these connections, our students learn directly from the people who make today's cinema.

These exchanges also lead to many opportunities for internships, assistant positions on shoots and festival participation. The school is designed as a real springboard into professional life, and our curriculum is continuously updated to keep pace with the industry.

Joining AMCA means starting a structured journey that doesn't end with graduation. From the final year, each student receives personalized support to enter the job market: writing artistic proposals, preparing calls for projects, help with starting a company or obtaining intermittent worker status, and networking with recruiters and producers…

Many initiatives make this transition easier: pitch events, a job board, individual coaching, interview preparation workshops and mentoring.

The film industry is demanding and sometimes unpredictable: we want every graduate to leave well equipped, confident and ready to adapt.
