Objectifs pédagogiques

  • Create a video project in Premiere Pro editing software, by organizing the elements
  • Assemble video clips with smooth transitions and a calibrated image.
  • Integrate a sound environment by mixing it to obtain a homogeneous audio track.
  • Generate subtitles to make the video accessible.
  • Configure the rendering and export of the video project in order to create a final file optimized for the distribution and viewing of the video on the targeted distribution channel.

Programme

Day 1

Digital video: resolution, pixels, frame rate, frame rates, formats and codecs. Getting started with the Adobe Creative Cloud Workflow: interface settings, preferences, sequences. Import and organization of video rushes, graphic elements and audio. Management of HD, 4K formats: acquisition, import, media explorer

Day 2

Organize dusting. Discover the basic tools: Points In/Out, timeline, insert, replace, insert, replace, insert, replace, cut, replace, cutter, extend, pen, hand, transitions, magnetism, marks... Create a narration through editing (rhythm, connections...) Integrated calibration tools: 3-way correction: 3-way correction, primary, TSL, secondary. Use of preconfigured looks. Control tools: vectoscope, RGB parade.

Day 3

Basic settings: level, gain, channel. Insert music and audio. Voice over recording. “Essential Audio Improvement” window: DeNoiser, DeHummer, DeEsser... Mixing Tools.

Day 4

Free-frame, time-lapse and slow-motion (interpolation, optical flow), time remapping. Video effects: stabilizer, tint, blur, blur, crop, overlay, track cache. Masks: shapes, tracking, configuration. Use and configuration of templates. Green background inlay.

Day 5

Subtitling: manual transcription, automatic transcription via AI, choice of language, text export, subtitle creation, export and import SRT. Finalization and export: codecs, debits, exports.

Premises equipped with the latest equipment.

Learning cinema today also means mastering tools that meet professional standards. This is why AMCA provides its students with an exceptional technical environment. Our premises, designed to promote creativity and collaboration, are equipped with the latest generation of audiovisual equipment. 4K digital cameras, high-end sound equipment, professional editing stations, professional editing stations, soundproof studios, calibration room, mixing room, TV control rooms: each space is designed to reproduce real shooting and post-production conditions. Whether for educational exercises or personal projects, our students have free and supervised access to these equipment throughout their training.locaux, conçus pour favoriser la créativité et la collaboration, sont équipés de matériel audiovisuel de dernière génération. Que ce soit pour des exercices pédagogiques ou des projets personnels, nos étudiants ont un accès libre et encadré à ces équipements tout au long de leur formation.

The objective is clear: to allow everyone to become familiar with the tools used in the industry from the first year, in order to be fully operational at the end of school. This technological immersion is reinforced by regular training in reference software (DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Pro Tools, After Effects...). At AMCA, we believe that technical mastery is inseparable from creative freedom. It is by giving yourself the right tools that you will be able to create images that look like you.

The AMCA forges strong links with major cinema and audiovisual professionals and institutions, to open the doors of the real world to its students. These partnerships take multiple forms: masterclasses with recognized directors and technicians, acting workshops with established actors, writing residencies in collaboration with festivals, co-production projects with partner studios, visits to film sets... Follow-up even in the professional world.

Entering AMCA means embarking on a structuring journey, which does not end with the diploma. Our mission is to support each student beyond training, until their integration into the world of work. From the last year, we offer personalized support for professional integration: writing artistic files, preparing for calls for projects, helping to create a business or an intermittent status, networking with recruiters or producers, etc.

Numerous mechanisms are in place to facilitate this transition: pitch events, job advertising platforms, individual coaching, interview preparation modules, mentoring by former students. This follow-up is possible thanks to a strong link with our network of alumni, who are regularly asked to intervene or recruit. The world of cinema is demanding, sometimes unstable: we want each graduate to come out equipped, confident, ready to adapt.
