Programme
Day 1
The image post production workflow. The various exchange files: XML, AAF, DRT and their specificities. What to ask who? Open the software. The different spaces and their usefulness. The basic settings to be made. Import media and store them.
Day 2
First calibration: import an assembly, conform it to the native ones. Verify the assembly with a reference: the steps. Work on the primaries. Control tools. What is happening with the signal? Nodes, their usefulness, their use. “Free” calibration. Projection and feedback.
Day 3
Color spaces: what are they? What space for what destination? Secondary schools: kesaco? Their usefulness and their implementation (faces, landscapes...) How to organize the nodes with the secondary ones? The selection, the masks and their use. Put into practice with new rushes.
Day 4
Interpreting an artistic request: how to translate it. Understand references and translate them. Put into practice on an image montage, with the same working bases, but different artistic instructions. Exports and viewing of renderings. Projection and feedback.
Day 5
Codecs, resolutions, color spaces, gamma. Deliveries, finishes and different types of exports. Master image. Web version. TV PAD. Master cinema. File names. Put into practice by exporting the work in different variations.
